The service at Kimchi Red was absolutely lovely! The staff were kind and attentive throughout our visit. My family and I, along with my niece and nephew who love Korean fried chicken, felt very welcomed. The servers were particularly sweet and helped calm our little ones with some juice boxes. It's the little things that make a difference. As for the food, we ordered three different sets of chicken (snow cheese, spicy jeonju, soy garlic pepper) and the kimchi fries. Snow Cheese Boneless Wings: We decided to try the snow cheese as boneless wings. These wings were extremely crispy and perfectly cooked. The seasoning was excellent, making this our favorite dish. Spicy Jeonju Wings: The spicy jeonju wings had a flavor profile resembling orange chicken. Despite ordering them "hot," they were milder than expected. This was our second favorite flavor. Soy Garlic Pepper Wings: The soy garlic pepper wings were flavorful but definitely on the saltier side. While they were good, the saltiness became a bit overwhelming after a few wings. I personally preferred this flavor over the spicy jeonju, but my family liked the spicy jeonju more. Kimchi Fries: The loaded kimchi fries were very flavorful and remained crispy despite the generous amount of sauce. The flavors were well distributed, but I wish there had been more pork. It was hard to tell there was any pork in the dish. Overall, the food was very good and flavorful! We are definitely visiting again.

This is voted the best Korean fried chicken in the US for a reason, I've eaten a lot of KFC while traveling and I am so damn happy I live up here now cause this place is quality and you get what you pay for. This will always make multiple meals even for 2 people so know you will have leftovers. The kimchi fried rice is my wife's favorite and is packed with flavor and the spice is perfect. Small place but the service is good. If you haven't, give this place a try for sure.

*Food 4.4/5 K-mega Fries were the highlight today. Fries remained crispy despite the toppings. Good amount of toppings. Wish there was more kimchi, but overall very generous portion. Would get again. Buldak Cheesy Chicken option is very unique from other Korean Fried Chicken spots. The fry isn't very crispy compared to other locations, but sufficient. Didn't see a wings or drumstick option? Cheese texture and tasted like alfredo based sauce. Buldak sauce tasted like the mild one, not too spicy. Came with radish. Would try a different flavor next time. *Vibes- 4.8/5 Service was great, cashier was helpful/friendly. Seating not very spacious but lots of seating. *Miscellaneous Menu is easy to read with pretty accurate graphics. Good amount of selection to choose from. Parking available, limited. Free water available. Unisex bathroom kind of awkward with urinal. Tip: If you can order ahead, try to do so. The wait was about 20-30 minutes. No alcohol available for the people who like to pair beer and chicken.

Food was excellent, service was excellent. Ambience a little little hectic, but I would certainly grab a takeout order in the future.

I come to ATL every other month for work. I always look for very interesting places to experience when I go somewhere. When I saw the #1 rated fried chicken spot in the nation was nearby I made a plan to go. It's about a 45 minute drive after work from where I stay in Marietta when visiting. I walked in and was instantly greeted by the owner Alice. She was great! Just like all the other reviews said about her. She asked me if I had any questions. She asked if I had been there before and I told her I was visiting and saw the amazing reviews. She walked me through the entire menu personally. She asked me about my culinary restrictions, preferences and wanted to see how diverse my palette was. I appreciated the time she took and attention to detail. They use the same formula for their recipes and food preparation. This is their art and it shows. I decided to take the when in Rome approach and order a few things to sample. I started off with the mega fries. The flavors were impeccable. Freshly fried and crisp. Perfectly done. Next I went with the kimchi rice. Same thing as before. Delicious. I finished with the garlic honey chicken. The sweet and then tangy with the balsamic and honey together is amazing. I had so much food to take with me. This was a great culinary experience and I truly thank the team for making it an amazing visit!

Food: I have to say - this food is AMAZING. I was so impressed. We got the mal-la chicken, which was fire. The chicken itself is fresh, cooked perfectly, falls off the bone. And then the tingly spicy sauce was delicious! We also got the rose tteokbokki was SO good. Rich deep flavors, with Asian zing. I don't like tomato-based things, but this was still amazing. The Galbi plate was also delicious, but not the show stopper. Even the japchae noodle side was fresh and tasty!! Service: The lady was so nice at the counter! Explained so much to use. The food does take a while to come out - so be prepared to wait 20-30min for your food. We came when it wasn't busy, and it still took that long because everything is made fresh. It's worth it though! Ambience: Clean, simple decor. Wish they had more tables because it's usually busy but that's a good problem to have! This is one of our TOP ATL dining experiences!
